  • Text Inputs: The text you input into our tools for processing. This data is processed in real-time and is NOT retained after your session ends.
  • Usage Data: Anonymous data about how you interact with our tools, such as the number of uses per day and tool preferences, handled via Plausible Analytics (which does not use cookies and is privacy-focused).
  • Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and profile information.
  • Payment Information: Processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your information is used to:

  • Provide and improve the PenGenie API and tools.
  • Maintain your usage history in your dashboard (only if logged in).
  • Send important account updates or service announcements.
  • Prevent abuse of our free tier limits.

4. Data Retention and Security

If you use PenGenie without logging in, your text inputs are processed in server memory and discarded immediately. We do not use your text to train our AI models.

If you log in, we store your generation history in your secure dashboard using Supabase. You can delete your history or account at any time. We implement industry-standard encryption protocols to protect against unauthorized access.

5. Cookies and Web Tracking

PenGenie uses essential cookies only to manage user authentication sessions. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. Our analytics (Plausible) is fully cookie-less and compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR.

We leverage trusted third-party services to operate PenGenie:

  • OpenAI / Groq: For processing AI text transformations.
  • Supabase: For secure database hosting and user authentication.
  • Razorpay: For secure payment processing.
